As a Lead Server you will be a vital, experienced member of our Full Sail Brew Pub front of house staff. You will serve guests table-side, providing friendly and customer-focused service, provide senior support to newer members of the team and help set the restaurant up for success when performing opening and closing duties. Successful candidates will be highly responsible and reliable, self-motivated, energetic, and team oriented. Our restaurant is consistently acknowledged for excellent service, high quality food and a strong reputation for creating a memorable dining experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon being seated in a welcoming, friendly manner.
• Provide guests with knowledge of the menu, beers and specials.
• Follow through on steps of service with consistency and timeliness.
• Follow procedures for POS system operations.
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Multi-task and handle multiple-table sections.
• Clear, clean and ready tables for next guests when appropriate.
• Maintain pub cleanliness and stocking levels throughout your shift.
• Complete shift side work, (check out with floor manager before ending shift?)
• Support team members and treat all FOH and BOH staff with respect.
• Arrive on time, ready to work for your scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to and enforce all rules and laws under the OLCC.
• Other duties as assigned.

Lead responsibilities:

• Fulfil all server duties and responsibilities.
• Complete opening checklist duties, readying the restaurant for the day of service.
• Complete closing checklist duties, closing the restaurant and setting up for the next day.
• Ensure thorough communication is passed down to GM and/or Front of House Manager each shift for smooth, continuous operations and service.
• Input voids, comps and discounts in the POS with appropriate discretion.
• Support the training of new FOH employees.
• Assist in counting month end FOH inventory

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• OLCC license preferred upon hire, required within 30 days of hire.
• Food handler's certification preferred upon hire, required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience working in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to actively listen, build rapport with others and problem solve as needed.
• Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.

Schedule:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, bend, squat, lift 15 – 40lbs and input order into the computer POS. The work environment is fast-paced and loud at times.
