Job Summary

Inventory Control Specialists are responsible for completing the following tasks:

  • Auditing and maintaining physical accuracy of the inventory through cycle counting.
  • Researching can’t fill from daily reporting, and cycle counting merchandise to maintain correct inventory levels.
  • Assisting Facility with problem merchandise
  • Management of Inventory between the warehouse and the photo studios
  • Performing physical counts of merchandise and making system corrections based on findings.
  • Using system-generated reports for the counting of inventory.
  • Reconciling variances as they are found and communicating findings to the supervisor.

 

The Associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:

  • Perform basic math and interpret both written and verbal instructions correctly.
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

 

Job Requirements

  • MS Office Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Accounting/Finance background a plus
  • Previous distribution experience
  • Sound decision-making ability
  • Effective and professional communication ability, written and verbal 

 

Essential Physical Requirements

  • May require pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and/or lifting up to 50lbs in a warehouse environment.

Standing or walking will be required for the duration of shift. (excluding breaks/lunch)
