Fulfillment Operations - Neiman Marcus Group Careers Careers is Hiring a Training Manager - Fulfillment Operations Near Dallas, TX

Your Role 

You will work within the Supply Chain training team that will be accountable for the training of Neiman Marcus distribution and fulfillment center associates.You will report to the Senior Manager and support the development and implementation of training strategies, plans, and processes.You will be responsible for the training team including the coordinators and trainers to support the day-to-day new hire and flex training along with supporting the supply chain training transformation.

What You'll Do

  • Assessment of training programs in fulfillment and distribution centers
  • Identify future needs of training in Neiman Marcus facilities to support the supply chain transformation.
  • Continuous development of a consistent and comprehensive training program for new-hire associates
  • Develop and implement new content for the ‘Train the Trainer’ program.
  • Work with People Services and Sr. Operations leaders to identify training needs and review training schedules.
  • Lead the training team including the training coordinators and trainers.
  • Ensure associates are following standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the training program’s effectiveness.
  • Partner with operations leadership to assess trainer capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Validate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in developing new SOPs to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop training tools and content that promote efficient and effective knowledge transfer from Trainers to Trainees
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with leaders in people services, operations, and other support functions.
  • Teach, coach, and provide actionable feedback to build skills and drive the development of the training coordinators and trainers.
  • Monitor team engagement and seek feedback to understand the impact of changes and initiatives.

What You Bring 

  • Training experience in a DC/Warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak in front of associate groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be customer-focused and able to adapt to changing priorities on short notice.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
