Overview

We are hiring for a Facilities Technician. The Facilities Technician will perform general facility repairs and maintenance to ensure the site meets cGMP and OSHA compliance. This professional works 2nd shift. Responds to unexpected incidents on facility equipment (HVAC, electrical system) and quality equipment alarms (e.g., REES). Emergency responses such as power outages and weather-related incidents. This professional is also vendor’s on-site contact person for assigned projects.

This position is on site for our Santa Ana, CA location.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting facility equipment maintenance and repairs records in Computerized Maintenance System (CMS).
• Installing/maintaining/repairing/tuning/troubleshooting facility equipment: Automatic doors and gates, Heat and Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Electrical Systems per planned schedule or work request. Repairing/modifying the facility including wallboard, carpentry, painting, plumbing or electrical services.
• Evaluating facility equipment to identify and correct reasons for
• Requisitioning new supplies and equipment, as needed.
• Coordinating vendors and contractors as
• Moving furniture and equipment to meet operational
• Responds to emergency (e.g., fire and burglary) alarms and production, quality equipment (e.g., REES) alarms.
• Performing other related duties as
• May need to drive company vehicle if necessary.

Experience/ Education:

• S. Diploma or equivalent, with trade school and/or formal training.1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience of working in GMP environment. Previous experiences in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Biotechnology industries.
• Work experiences in general facility maintenance and repair with the use of hand and power tools.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance System (CMS). Proficiency of Windows including Outlook, Excel,
