FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is Hiring a Master Data Coordinator Near Triangle, NC

As a member of the FDBU Supply Chain (SC) organization, the Master Data (MD) Coordinator will be focused on the SAP Material Master, MBR building in SAP & PAS-X or Process Orders. Each of these areas will require reviewing Formulation Records and Batch Records to support the FDBU Supply Chain operations, ensuring accurate data quality and business continuity. Team members will collaborate with FDBU Business, Operations, Quality and Technology stakeholders to understand the processes and workflows required to build a strong SC data foundation. Team members will establish and follow Master Data (MD) governance best practices, along with Global FDB teams, with a focus on continuous improvement to promote growth and structure for daily Supply Chain operations. The Master Data Coordinator will also be adaptable to assisting with business or IT projects, to advise on Master Data topics and execute necessary activities.
External US MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
SAP Material Master
  • Process requests for new SAP material numbers.
  • Review effective Specifications and Records to verify SAP Material Master Accuracy.
  • Maintain Trackers to document requests and status of requests.
  • Ensure proper flow of requests and SAP status based on business needs.
  • Maintain SAP MM Field List.
  • Work with Global MD team to assess proposals and the impact to FDBU.
MBR Building
  • Build, review and maintain BOM's/Recipes/Production Versions in SAP and PAS-X.
  • Understand Idoc process and means to correct issues.
Process Orders
  • Create and maintain SAP Process Orders.
  • Work with QADC in requesting records.
  • File and deliver records.
  • Responding to Emergency Requests for records.
Other:
  • Review records in Master Control Collaboration to verify the accuracy of material issues.
  • Review MBR’s in SAP & PAS-X.
  • Create and maintain corresponding SOP's and Work Instructions.
  • Ability to follow Asset Plan (production schedule).
  • Train other MD team members.
  • Work with SC Planning and QA to resolve MD issues.
  • Define business rules and assist all SAP/PAS-X users with MD topics.
  • Measure MD quality and report finding to ensure clean data.
  • Research new technologies to promote growth of MD Management best practices.
  • Must be able to incorporate the company’s long-term strategy into activities.
  • Knowledge of data governance policies, processes, and organization.
  • Troubleshoot and support all MD related requests.
  • Be a subject matter expert within all areas of MD management.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 2 years’ experience in a master data
environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide cross functional planning with internal customers.
  • Strong data entry and data management skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
  • Customer focus and high sense of urgency when assisting business users
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing business critical data in ERP systems
  • Ability to document functional requirements, business rules, and process flows to build
MD governance.
  • Interpersonal skills are required to work will with individuals at all levels within
the company.
Preferred:
  • Experience in MES systems (PAS-X) a plus
  • 2 years’ experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
