Job Description In Fugro’s Marine Geotechnics service line our geoscientists and engineers have expertise in guiding data collection programs; exploring ocean basins; interpreting seafloor geo-morphology, being involved in environmental, carbon sequestration, and geochemical exploration studies; identifying and analyzing geohazards; and advising on foundation siting and design and routing pipelines and cables. The Engineering Delivery Manager – Marine will be accountable for delivery processes and practices, as related to Fugro’s subsea engineered solutions, being defined and respected - A conduit for information that is needed by the wider business as it relates to (Marine Site Characterization) product and/or feature releases. This role is a technical authority, providing oversight over the whole requirements pipeline from a quality/efficiency perspective. Job Responsibilities Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Manage the delivery and maintenance of vessel-deployed engineered solutions in support of marine site characterization operations, with a focus on marine drilling systems and subsea hardware deployments in support of geotechnical data acquisition. Ensure the quality and timeliness of project documentation. Identify and provide any specialized knowledge and training for the project team (esp. field operator group) to ensure competency in field operations delivered. Manage the implementation of engineering strategies, plans, key milestones, and processes to ensure the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets. Reviewing specifications and providing input on the successful design/delivery of Fugro-engineered systems, with a focus on safety, functionality, and affordability. Produce budgets and cost-time-resource plans for specific studies, newbuild construction, or system modifications and manage the cost control process. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project delivery or operational effectiveness. Review orders, address issues and concerns to provide corrective measures quickly, evaluate team members' performance, and train new employees in preparation for solutions delivery to the business. Job Requirements Must have current driver's license with a clean record by Company and DOT policies. Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel. Must be able to obtain and maintain all credentials for offshore work such as TWIC, passport, water survival, and OGUK certification. Possess a bachelor’s in engineering or an associate with 15 years of relevant experience. combination of education and experience. 10 years managing projects in the delivery of vessel/subsea-engineering solutions within a marine-services-delivery environment. Possess proven performance leading complex technical work, advanced team, and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently. Strong commercial acumen and experience in various commercial contracting models/risk profiles (Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc.). Possess strong working knowledge of computers and fluent in a variety of software applications (including but not limited to MS Office). What’s in it for you?
