FUEL Website Designer (Contract)

FUEL is seeking a talented and creative Website Designer who wants to create visually compelling brochure websites that are unique and engaging.

The website designer works in conjunction with the account, UX, and copy team members to ensure alignment with overarching client goals and objectives and consistency with established brand guidelines. 

Expectations

• Collaborate with UX to organize, structure, and plan a website’s content hierarchy, navigation, and flow in Figma.
• Translate wireframes into aesthetically pleasing mobile-first visual designs in desktop and mobile in Figma.
• Present website visual designs at internal and client reviews.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of user experience, user interface design, and prototyping.
• Organizes client-provided assets and provides POV on photography style etc
• Experience with design systems and produces design specifications for websites when required.
• Source assets such as graphics, photography, icons, and stock videography as needed.
• Design custom icons and artwork when needed.
• Extends brand guidelines and develops visual language for the web; maintaining brand consistency throughout all web and UI design elements.
• Prep & export assets for development.
• Provide direction and support to the developer.
• Conduct website testing and QA to ensure development matches the visual design.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Ability to create sites on time and on budget.
• Manages projects in the Wrike project management platform.

Qualifications

• 5 years of website design experience.
• A strong portfolio of unique, innovative websites with cohesive user interface design.
• Possesses an understanding of UX, SEO, and web design best practices.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Proficiency in Figma.
