Overview:
We are partnered with a tenured company in Buffalo who is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Cost Accounting Analyst to join their team. As the Inventory Accounting Analyst, you would be responsible for analyzing inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies, inventory cost reporting, monitoring inventory levels , and ensuring accurate inventory counts. This is a vital role in our organization as it directly impacts their supply chain efficiency and overall financial performance. This is a fully onsite opportunity 7am-4:30pm (can be somewhat flexible).
Duties:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (ERP experience preferred as well)
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and financial statement preparation
- Minimum of 2 years experience with cost analysis
- Experience with cycle counts, bill of materials, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory management or supply chain management
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
