About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated, innovative and team-oriented Managing Director for our Digital & Insights team to lead the integration of our research, data science and digital intelligence offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities to bring together insights-driven capabilities that proactively position clients, help navigate issues and crises, and assist with performance reporting and optimization. Working as a part of the Digital & Insights team, the candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of communications trends and activities with specific experience leading research and data teams and programs.
In FTI's Strategic Communications segment, we provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.
What You'll Do:
·Oversee the integration of research, data science and digital intelligence strategies to inform insights-driven programs for a variety of accounts across North America.
·Serve as strategic counselor for client contacts on accounts; proactively identify opportunities to incorporate Digital & Insights capabilities and services.
·Collaborate with other team members on the research, planning, and development of integrated communication programs.
·Think creatively and contribute to solutions that meet clients’ business and engagement objectives.
·Generate and lead new business development efforts based on an existing book of business or network of contacts you bring in
·Cultivate an internal and external network, and identify areas where you/the team can support the closing of proposal and delivery of client work
Basic Qualifications:
·Minimum 10 years of work experience, ideally at a communications agency
·Demonstrated track record of business development and growth
·Expertise working with and a passion for research, data science and digital intelligence
·Commercial mindset that thrives on pursuing and winning new business
·Experience leading teams, and serving as a coach/mentor for staff
·Superior writing, editing and researching skills
·Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment with regular change
