We are experts at Dynamic IPM® - Integrated Pest Management programs and Fumigation techniques. We have several decades of experience in ever changing Safety Standards in the industry and we're looking for a new Dynamic Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Specialists in your area.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with stored product pest knowledge and/or a food plant industry background but our excellent training program allows us to consider all applicants.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR IPM SPECIALIST

This Full-Time position works with a team to perform necessary pest control assignments from start to finish, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities of a Dynamic® IPM Technician

• Follow all FSS, Inc. Safety expectations at all times including but not limited to vehicle and travel, pest control product storage and application.
• Provide total account management and Pest Control Services for FSS, Inc. customers.
• Produce and manage all documentation required for services, inspections, periodic reporting, billing and State required documentation.
• Educate customers on food safety pest management issues to improve product safety and protect the customer’s brand.
• Ensure a “perfect” or near “perfect” score on all third-party and internal audits.
• Assisting in other areas of related business as requested.

Position requirements of a Dynamic® IPM specialist

• Develop a working knowledge of all audits in place in the Region and become proficient using industry software such as PestPac.
• Not required for hire but you must be able to: Complete state Pest Control Licensing requirements. We pay for all resources, fees, training materials and guidance to ensure your success in this area.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Must pass criminal background check, have a valid driver's license/good driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Results will be measured using current Federal drug testing standards and not any State Laws. Employees participate in our random drug screening program.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs.

Some pest control work will be completed in small spaces such as under or behind commercial equipment. Must be comfortable working at heights and using a ladder safely. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds. Must be able to verbally convey detailed information or important instructions or ideas accurately or quickly. Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Average visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate equipment. Requires active work punctuated by periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
