QualificationsAs a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:
Order Management
  • Ensure all purchase orders are placed and tracked within a specified timeframe to meet the warehouse stock needs
  • Track and communicate changes in ETA of products
  • Work with Procurement team to develop, improve, and maintain profitable and effective purchasing strategies
Inventory Management
  • Independently review stock levels
  • Assist in maintaining proper counts and ROP levels for all available inventory
  • Review data to determine ordering strategies that optimize inventory
Supplier Relationships
  • Works closely with suppliers to maintain a high level of communication and engagement in our business
Product Usage Tracking and Forecasting
  • Tracks and reports on key functional metrics to improve effectiveness
  • Independently gathers and clearly communicates data when requested by other teams
  • Develops projections and forecasts
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, related field or equivalent
  • 1-3 years buying or planning experience
  • Broad range of material purchasing (e.g., plastics, metals, hardware, fabric, etc.)
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications and working within ERP systems
