Our dairy products are minimally processed and come straight from Midwest family farms surrounding our creameries. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver to join Frytown Distribution, a member of the Open Gates Group family of companies.

Our Warehouse Associate/ Driver is responsible for performing physical tasks in the materials management function including picking orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and delivery of products. Must have a clean driving record and be willing to obtain a CDL license (Class A or B). Open Gates will assist with training and costs associated with the CDL license. Typical shift hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional weekend work as required.

What you will do:

• Pick orders for external and internal customers in a cold storage environment.
• Load and unload trucks and receive materials in a timely manner.
• Assist in the internal transport of products to Open Gates facilities.
• Assist in product pick-up and local deliveries when needed.
• Adhere to DOT State and Federal regulations.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensuring the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Update theinventory control system.
• Participate in physical inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of work procedures as directed.
• Maintain a safe warehouse environment and a clean, sanitary work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• 2 years of warehouse and pallet jack/forklift experience desired.
• Able to perform work in cold temperatures (ie: a cooler) for several hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and stand for 8 hours per day.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math and reasoning skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Google Suite.
• Flexible and willing to learn and grow in the role.
• Team oriented with a focus of working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
• Good attitude with a high level of integrity and alignment with our mission, vision, values & operating principles.
