HIRING IMMEDIATELY!
The Fruit Center Marketplace, the South Shores premier gourmet and specialty foods retailer, is looking for an experienced merchandiser to support our produce department at our Hingham location.
As a full-time produce merchandiser you will be expected to :
- Be able to work efficiently and purposefully in a fast paced team oriented atmosphere.
- Be customer oriented. You should be able to answer questions and fulfill requests in a pleasant manner, in person or on the phone.
- Have flexibility to a variety of shifts include morning, midday, evening times. Closing, opening, weekends, holiday shifts are expected.
Specifics tasks include :
- Unloading of delivery trucks
- Backroom trimming, cutting, preparing, packing and pricing products for sale
- General cleanliness and upkeep
- Cross training of departments and store support are a part of the day; (e.g., helping front end, get carriages, etc.)
- Be able to take direction and respond to coaching
