Frost Exotic Cannabis is Hiring a General Manager for a Denver Cannabis / Marijuana Dispensary Near Denver, CO

Job Summary:

Frost Exotic Cannabis (f/n/a Diego Pellicer - Colorado) is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of its retail store. The ideal candidate will manage and plan all aspects of the daily operations, lead the team, drive and increase sales, manage marketing, manage inventory and procurement, ensure excellent customer service and vendor relations, oversee human resources (interviewing, hiring, and training/coaching employees), and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary
  • Supervise staff, including employee sales, daily responsibilities, scheduling, and holding staff accountable to the company’s processes, procedures, expectations, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and supply levels, including stock rotation
  • Implement and execute strategies and marketing to increase sales and meet financial goals
  • Ensure and oversee daily compliance with local and state regulations, and company policies and procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner
  • Oversee cash register operations and reconcile daily sales ensuring accurate company records and logs
  • Ensure daily Metrc compliance including daily sales reporting and inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service and experience
  • Manage and develop all sales and marketing efforts of the company
  • Fulfill and cover job duties of any assistant manager, shift lead, sales employee, or support position, as needed, to compensate for staffing or schedule shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations
  • Ensure scheduling needs are satisfied; adjust and accommodate scheduling changes when Team Members need shifts covered
  • Execute all aspects of human resources including bi-weekly payrolls (Green Leaf), scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, disciplinary actions and paperwork, employee reviews, personnel issues, maintaining employee Green Leaf profiles and records, resolving employee conflicts, etc
  • Be responsible for facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including proper up-keep of phone, internet, utilities, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock, and supplies
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Regularly reviews KPIs and related information to consistently meet sales targets and goals, and hold retail staff accountable for monthly sales targets
  • Meet company KPIs of 10%-16% of net sales budget for payroll and 45% of net sales for COGS/inventory.
  • Oversee Opening/Closing Procedures on a daily basis.
  • Analytics - Review company POS and market data (BDSA) and provide insightful conclusions
  • Execute any other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time

Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing a dispensary business
  • Strong understanding of retail math and shift management
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team; and

leads by example through demonstration, coaching and counseling

  • Experience in recruiting, training, and managing staff
  • Strong experience in inventory management, procurement, and inventory control
  • Strong experience with Flowhub, Metrc, cash register operations, and handling transactions accurately
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong note taking, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; anticipatory thinking and ability to forecast; calculating, multi-tasking, attention to detail (maintains a firm grip on details), conflict resolution, teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and proactive active behavior
  • Reliable Self-Starter with strong independent initiative, possessing self-motivating, professional, proactive, positive, and collaborative behavior and attitude
  • Advanced knowledge of local and state compliance, laws, and regulations on regulated marijuana businesses
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Integrity – Makes all decisions and acts ethically and honestly
