Who you are:
As a Quality Automation Engineer III , you are our quality control, ensuring every application is stable and built with integrity, caring and excellence. You'll play an important role in the design, creation, and testing of applications to ensure the quality and stability in every system. You'll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the applications are performing optimally and meet our high standards. You are not afraid to ask the question why and thrive in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do:
  • Oversee, design, review, build, and deploy test automation solutions and framework for the most complex, interrelated systems to ensure the quality and stability of software applications
  • Lead the troubleshooting and triage of the most complex escalated system issues with project teams to identify the root causes, resolve issues, and implement process improvements
  • Guide and mentor other Test Engineers to ensure that their test solutions and scripts align with Frost's automation framework and industry standards
  • Collaborate with product management, project management, development teams, and business stakeholders to develop project, product, and testing objectives
  • Write and execute functional test cases as needed
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of test automation experience and development experience
  • Proficiency in designing and programming using java and scripting languages such as Python
  • Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns, including but not limited to Appium, WebDriver, RPA, TestNG, Playwright, Cypress, and Karate.
  • Strong understanding of API development and testing principles, including RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Experience with a distributed version-control management system like GIT
  • Ability to keep current with changing technology
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of service and environment virtualization and cloud computing
  • Knowledge of Non-Functional Testing (Performance and Security Testing)
  • Good knowledge on DevOps tools including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Splunk
  • Familiarity with AI LLM and their application in software testing
