Job Summary:

The Home Health - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes. The PTA will assist in the implementation of treatment plans, document patient progress, and communicate with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes
• Document patient progress and communicate with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health physical therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Kinnser EMR preferred
