Frontline enables customers to track wildfires, receive important alerts, and safely navigate a wildfire, while protecting a customer’s home with the remotely operated Frontline Wildfire Defense System. With multiple levels of redundancy, our home defense system hydrates the materials of a home and its surrounding area to prevent ignition from flying embers - the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfire.

About This Opportunity

Frontline is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Foreman capable of doing installations and providing leadership and technical expertise for our installation crew. The Foreman is responsible for the Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity of each assigned installation project. The Foreman is a working field position that leads a team of 3 to 6 members to successfully complete residential and small commercial projects.
Fire &/or Solar experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
  • The Foreman role is a hands-on role leading the crew to successfully install projects with an emphasis on quality, customer service, and a high level of productivity
  • Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes
  • Effectively manage all aspects of the workflow of the project to drive productivity. This includes material and equipment procurement and inventory management, the entire end to end install process, and post-project documentation
  • Communicate with HQ and provide project updates
  • Develop and maintain a positive working environment with the installation crew 
  • Manage vehicles, equipment, inventory, and crew schedule for region
  • Follow job costing guidelines and ensure accuracy of your own and crew's timesheets
  • Perform service calls when necessary
  • Contribute and adhere to Frontline Design Standards and OSHA safety requirements
Qualifications
  • Experience in residential roofing, solar, or plumbing is required including strong mechanical/construction skills
  • A high level of professionalism is required and the ability to interact with a wide range of customers
  • Have excellent verbal communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to anticipate and account for project requirements
  • Possess a strong work ethic and leads by example
  • High level of craftsmanship/workmanship with strong attention to detail
  • Physically capable of performing work duties
  • Knowledge of and adherence to local building codes and standards, OSHA safety standards
  • Willing to pursue additional training and certification where appropriate
  • Basic computer knowledge of MS Office and Google G Suite. Other contractor software tools are a plus.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends when necessary.
Compensation:
Hourly rate will be dependent on experience; starting at $35 - $40/hr. Future compensation tied to performance
