Under the general supervision of the Defending Childhood Program Manager and working as part of the Trauma Services Department, the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Counselor will provide a range of prevention, assessment, and intervention services with individuals who are experiencing significant emotional and behavioral difficulties related to traumatic life events. Must be able to complete and maintain service documentation according to agency and regulatory standards.
This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum starting wage of $24.00 per hour.
Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm.
Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree with specialization in social, behavioral or human services and three (3) years relevant counseling work experience. LSW, LISW, PC or PCC.
Preferred Qualifications: Supervisor designation (LISW-S or PCC-S)
