Primary care clinic in Oviedo, FL looking for a medical receptionist. We are looking for a candidate with good interpersonal skills, who can multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. This would be a great opportunity for prospective Medical, PA or Nurse Practitioners looking for medical experience to fulfill clinical hours, have interactions with patients, while gaining knowledge in functional aspects of a fairly new medical practice. The need is 2 days per week as part-time. Duties include answering calls, organizing faxes, scheduling patient visits, basic documentation in EMR, collecting and posting payments, scanning IDs and Insurance cards, communicating with patients/family members regarding any clinical concerns, interacting with pharmacies, faxing in referrals.
