PRN All shifts Position open!At Progressive Care Center, we are passionate about helping our residents live life to the fullest from the comfort of our senior living community.As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Progressive Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition on a daily basis, you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

Responsibilities
  • Record physical findings, and formulate plans and prognosis based on the resident’s condition. Report these to the attending physician.
  • Give direct physical and psychological nursing care in emergencies, as well as in the presence of an illness or disability, to maintain life, provide comfort, reduce stress, and enhance the resident’s ability to cope.
  • Provide information to residents and family members on prevention techniques and other ways to maintain or improve the general health and psychosocial status of the resident.
  • Must be able to deliver quality nursing care knowledgeably and competently to patients
  • Be a Force on the Floor: Lead the team by example when passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, and completing paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively to RN Supervisor all resident changes in conditions
Qualifications
  • Valid and active state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is preferred, but new grads are welcome.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
