In this position, you will provide direct treatment services in an inpatient setting to adults who are experiencing serious and/or chronic mental health disorders. This includes taking vital signs, administering medications, completing nursing assessments, and documenting patient responses. Additionally, completing admissions, discharges and transferring patients are common aspects of the position.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: These shifts have added shift differential.

• Weekday Night ( Monday-Friday 11PM-7:30AM) - This position is split between our Calispel and Foothills Location so 20 hours at each per week. Exact schedule to be determined upon hire.
• Weekend Night (Saturday & Sunday - 7PM - 7:30AM) - This position is split between our Calispel and Foothills location so 12 hours at each location per weekend. Exact schedule to be determined upon hire.
• Weekend Day (Saturday & Sunday - 7AM - 7:30PM) - Calispel Location - Evaluation & Treatment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:

• Provide medication assessment, evaluation and management to clients with persistent mental illness.
• Act as a gatekeeper for Psychiatrist/ARNP schedule to ensure consumer access to appointments as needed.
• Provide follow-up appointment availability for consumers between psychiatrist/ARNP.
• Ensure that pertinent medication related information is conveyed to hospital staff in the event of consumer hospitalization.
• Schedule face-to-face meeting with consumers within 24 working hours of discharge.
• Maintain the security of medication room by following FBH medical services protocol and procedures.
• Provide liaison and coordination between psychiatric services, PCP's, and clients in regard to medical issues.
• Provide clinical direction, consultation, and training to licensed practical nursing staff as defined by nursing standards of practice, and as assigned by supervisor.
• Develop referral sources with appropriate agencies.
• Assist in development and delivery of client education in the form of classes, groups and trainings.
• Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both external and internal customers of FBH have a positive experience of FBH.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

REQUIRED:

• Active RN license in the State of Washington at the time of hire.
• Active BLS within 90 days of hire and must maintain active BLS.

PREFERRED:

• 1-2 years' experience in Psychiatric setting.
• Previous inpatient experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate with individuals of various backgrounds, education levels and socio-economic status.
• Ability to apply trauma-informed concepts and practices related to patient care.
• Must have basic computer skills including ability to document in an electronic medical record, use electronic time tracking, use of Outlook, Word and HRIS.

BASE PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $43.15- $52.58*

*All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting base pay for this position is $43.15 per hour .

ADDED SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:

• Weekday Night Shift (Monday-Friday 11PM-7:30AM) - 10.76% added shift differential to base pay.
• Weekend Night Shift ( Saturday & Sunday 7PM-7:30AM) - 33.40% added shift differential to base pay.
• Weekend Day Shift (Saturday & Sunday 7AM-7:30PM) - 24.81% added shift differential to base pay.
