Job Description |

Frontier Audio Labs is looking for extremely hardworking and resourceful marketing manager with experience marketing hardware & software (computer related) devices (or any crazy/unprecedented product) to consumers or industrial end-users. As a member of a very small team, candidates should expect to own immense aspects of the marketing/sales process while learning and adapting quickly. “Crazy ideas”, being scrappy, and having fun are tenants of the culture as well as focus and hard work, fundamental requirements to reach our goals. Frontier Audio Labs is an ideal company for those looking to be a cornerstone member of a quickly growing and motivated team developing next generation audio-centric products and technologies. Lastly, while Frontier Audio Labs as a startup may not be able to offer top-bucket cash compensation starting off, this position will include a significant (multiple percent) equity stake.

Responsibilities |

• Supporting all facets of marketing process including go to market, product marketing, communications, advertisements, and branding for company developing game changing products
• Spearheading pre-sales and product launch campaigns
• Forming multi-channel marketing and sales strategy
• Developing company brand via website, social media, and other channels
• Drive outbound product marketing with public relations/communications and advertising
• Creating digital assets independently or via working with 3^rd party
• Collaborating closely with R&D and sales team

Qualifications |

Required

• Dedication to and passion for creating incredible products stretching the boundaries of possible
• 5 years of experience in marketing for company selling software and hardware devices
• 3 years of experience creating and driving product pre-sales or launch campaign that exceeded expectations
• Strong portfolio of digital materials that candidate directed or made (videos, pictures, websites)
• 3 years of experience managing a company’s social media accounts and website
• Track record of creativity and crazy ideas
• Self-driven marketer who can independently prioritize and “get things done”
• Must have ability to be qualified to work in the U.S. in less than 3 months and have no restrictions for international travel
• Ability to commute to Frontier Audio’s Chicago office on a daily basis

Preferred

• Substantial experience with device product launches
• Professional marketing experience with wearables (earbud, headphone, smart watch, etc.)
• Experience in marketing for industrial tools or industrial devices
• Experience with social media and Amazon advertising
