Responsibilities

(100% Fully Remote Role)

Summary: Responsible for effectively delivering business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent project and program management practices and is a facilitator who works across numerous departments to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of company initiatives. The Senior Director will drive business initiatives, prioritization, and strategic alignment across all sales functions, and also work cross-functionally on broader company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and be accountable for a portfolio of cross-organizational projects including building business cases and program / project plans, standing up cross-functional workstreams, and maintaining a pulse on program health and performance
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall programs are aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Prepare all needed project artifacts from initiation through closure of a project, including detailed project plan(s) for all phases of the project
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external partner relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues, including deep diving into projects to help manage and course correct
  • Identify and manage program dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives
  • Define and regularly report on metrics and measurement for programs and projects within the portfolio
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Apply specialized knowledge of the industry standards/practices to programs and initiatives
  • Understand relationships across the company and with our members and partners to best advise on the necessary programs to achieve success and provide value
  • Lead and assist business partners across the organization through the strategic planning process, define their programs/projects and delivery dates; assist in the development of operational and strategic planning
  • Participate in establishing project management practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature the project management capabilities for the organization
  • Evaluate established processes and suggest lean and efficient improvements
  • Apply change management methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive the successful adoption of new processes across the organization
  • May assume other duties as applied.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, PMP and / or Agile certifications or advanced project portfolio training preferred

Minimum Experience required: 10 years of experience in the project/program management leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, including experience and proven results in a sales capacity, 3 years of experience in home warranty and/or real estate industry preferred

Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of portfolio management best practices and strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Experience leveraging organizational change management practices to drive successful adoptions
  • Strong executive presence, effective and concise communication skills, and the ability to present to different stakeholders, tailoring messages accordingly
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, set expectations, highlight misalignment, and have critical conversations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high EQ, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to successfully gain buy-in for your ideas and influence at all levels, including senior executives, without direct authority

  • Proven track record demonstrating good judgement, critical thinking, and creative problem solving
