We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Leadman/Machine Operator to manage and lead a team. The company is looking for someone interested in growing and building a solid career in a great company. You will be working at a fast-paced company.
Your main responsibilities can be the following, but not limited to them:

• Set machines to order specifications, make all machine adjustments and keep machinery producing at standard;
• Check that products being produced are to the specifications of the extrusion report;
• Quality control all products;
• Be able to fill in during the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
• At start of shift make sure your personnel are at their work

stations on time and dressed properly (no open toe shoes, loose clothing, or jewelry);

• Keep a constant check of the products being produced and the machines are operating according to our safety standards;
• Report all maintenance and safety problems to your Supervisor;
• Assist in the training of new employees.

Requirements:

• Must be knowledgeable in aspects of equipment operations and adjustments;
• Must be knowledgeable in the extrusion process;
• Be capable of minor repairs to the equipment;
• Understand all safety procedures;
• Understand inks and solvents;
• Know how to keep equipment at production and quality standards
• Spanish is a plus.
