The hourly rate for this part-time position is $29 - $33.Hr.

In this role, you will:

• Perform all facets of tissue processing, embedding, sectioning,
  and staining.
• Handling delicate or challenging specimen (animal and human)
  with expertise.
• Ensure the preparation of high-quality sections for
  microscopic examination.
• Perform routine staining techniques such as Hematoxylin and Eosin, Fontana Masson, etc., on tissue with precision.
• Perform high-resolution scanning of stained slides, ensuring accurate digital capture, with an emphasis on standardized image naming and data organization.
• Manage reagents and consumables inventory, optimizing stock levels
  and procurement.
• Uphold and enforce laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance, including hazardous material handling and disposal, to maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology OR Education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in science with some expertise in histology sample processing and staining.
• Rely on instructions and guidelines to perform the job functions.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, creative, enthusiastic, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Flexible and able to multitask.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
