From the Heart Support Services, LLC is Hiring a Behavioral Specialist Near Newtown, PA

Duties:
- Provide behavioral therapy and support to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each participant.
- Conduct assessments and collect data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
- Teach social skills, communication skills, and adaptive behaviors to promote independence
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Monitor and document behavioral changes and report any concerns or improvements to the appropriate team members

Skills:
- Experience working with adults with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Strong observation and data collection skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding for individuals with specific needs

This position requires a Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or a related field. Previous experience working with adults with autism or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
