The right Sales Consultant candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume. Duties Include: Build great relationships with customers through consultative selling, not afraid to enthusiastically cold-call, and a track-record as a high performer. Sales Consultants must manage customers’ accounts receivable, follow Frog’s sales processes, and achieve new & existing customer sales goals and metrics.

Pay/Benefits – Paid EVERY FRIDAY
* Competitive Base Salary Commission ($65,000 - $90,000 annual opportunity)

The right candidate for this position will have:

• A strong desire to sell and work on a commission basis.
• Ability to be an expert in produce and specialty foods and provide consultive support to restaurants
• Great communication and organizational skills and be a TEAM PLAYER
• Proactively solve issues and work with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations Departments to drive operational efficiencies and enhance customer experience

This position is primarily focused in Metro Detroit area and will work with many of Metro Detroit's best restaurants and chefs. We are looking for an individual who based in Detroit and has sold to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs OR has experience as chef or manager in the hospitality industry. You must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price. You must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer. You should be creative and a good problem solver. Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful. Must have had success selling as a commissioned salesperson in past. Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts and totals
