```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical billing and coding as needed
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in using dental or medical office management systems such as Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
