Responsibilities:

-Post payments

-Heavy collections
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Verify completeness and accuracy of patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies
- Assist with preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies, as needed
-Communicate with patients about claims and accounts and insurance

-Submit medical records to insurance companies

-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
-Insurance verification

-Collections

-Denials management

-Knowledge of payers and guidelines

-Interpret EOBs

- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
- Proficient in ICD-10 and CPT coding system
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

-Experience with eCW

-Knowledge of DME preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week
