Friendship Village Of Dublin is Hiring a Fitness Specialist- Part Time Near Dublin, OH
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assists in teaching group fitness and provides personal training.
- Provide technical help with our Community Engagement App and other projects as assigned.
- Maintain current knowledge of Friendship Village of Dublin and community service resources and refer residents to appropriate programs.
- Overall knowledge of the Wellness Center – its offerings, equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in collaboration with all Wellness Center staff and be flexible to assure the Wellness Department provides optimal service.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend meetings as necessary, attend professional development conferences and attend/support resident committees as needed.
- Embrace the FVD Community Culture of hospitality and personal integrity which extends to the “It takes a Village” brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current CPR, First Aid and Personal Training Certification required
- Certification and experience in group fitness preferred.
- Remain current on new research in the Wellness/Fitness arena.
- Assist in maintaining Fitness Center equipment.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office products).
- Must possess excellent communication, public speaking, time management, and organizational skills.
