Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MSW (Master of Social Work) to join our team at Friendship Hospice. As an MSW, you will provide clinical counseling and mental health services to individuals and groups. Your role will involve conducting patient assessments, providing therapy sessions, and assisting with diagnostic evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, group therapy, and medical terminology.

Need to have an Experience with Hospice MD

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health concerns
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as behavioral therapy and Christian counseling
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and provide recommendations for further treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Valid license or certification as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Proven experience in providing mental health counseling and clinical services
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Proficient in conducting individual and group therapy sessions
