The Chaplain:performs duties and responsibilities as required as a member of the interdisciplinary team delivering direct clinical care to patients; oversees and ensures the provision of spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, and, as appropriate, to staff; communicates with and provides liaison to local faith groups and clergy; supports patients in interfaith religious and spiritual observances; provides direct clinical services related spiritually to those in recovery; works collaboratively with coworkers to create a culture of compassionate and recovery-oriented care.
