Friendly Faces Daycare is a small business in Charleston, WV. We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide quality care for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old..

We are seeking a full-time availability to assist with childcare and be responsible for providing care to children in a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for children and infants.
  • Be responsible for the safety of children.
  • Act as a role model (e.g. provide positive guidance and encouragement).
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for children.
  • Provide parents with daily updates about their children's activities.
  • Enforce rules in a fair manner.
  • Supervise children's interactions with one another and ensure that they play well together.
  • Know how to handle emergencies involving infants.
  • Understand the local school district policies regarding home-based daycare providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Classroom experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Toddler care: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Infant care: 1 year (Required)
