Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is actively seeking a Per Diem COTA/L to join our Therapy Team!

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work in a team where you will provide compassionate and quality care in a secure setting. Under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement the resident's Care Plan for rehabilitation.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Help residents to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
• Communicate resident progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members.
• Assist with resident scheduling and post charges daily to resident records.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.

COTA Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program
• The current state of New York licensure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Long Term Care
• Must be vaccinated against Covid

Pay: $28.00 per hour
