AV-rated north bay firm Friedemann Goldberg Wargo Hess LLP seeks Associate Attorney to join our estate planning, business, and litigation practice.

Qualifications

Successful candidate would possess the following:

  • License to practice law in California with no record of discipline
  • 1-3 years' of recent experience in Estate Planning in California
  • Candidates should have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:
  • - Trust and estate administration and litigation
  • - Related business and real property issues
  • - Tax law as pertains to related business
  • Willingness to take on increasing responsibility, possess excellent writing and communication skills, as well as technical expertise
  • Superior analytical, communication, drafting, writing, research skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and thoughtful
  • Ties to or an interest in living in Sonoma County are preferred
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • - Meeting with new and existing clients in regard to estate planning needs
  • - Cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and legal professionals
  • - Draft and review estate plans for modest to high-net worth clients, simple to complex and advanced estate, gift, and tax plans

  • Salary Range of $105,000 to $120,000, depending on years of experience
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Annual billable hours for Associates are targeted lower than large firms at 1,650 hours
  • Performance based bonus; additional bonus based on collections directly sourced by associate
