$18.75/hour.Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.General Job DescriptionPrepare food and operate several different types of equipment. Trains or operates various equipment in different work areas, taking on progressively more responsible tasks. Able to work with great independence and demonstrates a good knowledge of various processes. Act as a resource regarding processes, procedures, and equipment to other Associates and Trainees. Follows all health and safety standards and enforces the use of PPE’s.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned placesLocate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipmentIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesTransport raw materials to production workstationsInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceKeep updated records of inventory and activity logsComply with company policies and legal guidelinesHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities, work with a high level of independence to Receive foods, Run assembly lines to recipe specifications, follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and meet health and safety standardsRotate and check food ingredients for freshness and quality. May receive products and verify the accuracy of the delivery. Will ensure accurate traceability methods are followedKeep work area/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go methodsPrepares and understands a variety of paperwork associated with raw materials, traceability, packaging, quality, and controls. Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork.May assist Associate Trainees with developing their skills and experience applying processes, using new equipment, and championing a project or team effortEnsures all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) are followed and may champion the GMP processes. At times may be assigned to other areas other than where they usually workWill be required to use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data, show receipt of goods, time spent preparing products, equipment used, etcEnsures correct usage of SAP B1 ERP systemIn coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with the product, Food Safety, Quality, or equipment, and escalates matters to other departments or to higher levels when neededPerforms other tasks and duties as neededQualifications For The JobSkills and RequirementsBasic computer skills and the ability to multi-taskBasic knowledge of how to operate packaging machinery and PLC Screen Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic mathWillingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environmentA min of 12 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment applying standard processes, procedures, and equipment Experience applying and enforcing routine Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in a chilled food environment is preferredExperience / EducationForklift CertifiedCompletion of a high school diploma or GED programAbility to follow all appropriate safety standards in food productionWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, pet insurance and legal insurance401(k) with company match that is immediately vestedLife and ADD insuranceOpportunities for career growth with a dynamic companyTime away from workOur Values at Work
