The Facilities Technician under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the entire facility Starting pay for this role is $24.00/hourObjectives of this RoleAssists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies during scheduled shift Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as neededAssists with departmental and employee movesHangs pictures and shelving, as neededDismantles and installs furnitureTransports goods or equipment as assignedPerforms other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager Responsible for all powered equipment, unscheduled maintenance and preventive maintenanceProvides immediate assistance to automated production equipment, troubleshoot issues and keep production on scheduleSkills and RequirementsMust be mechanically inclined, with a safety-first mentalityMust have a “Can Do Attitude” and be Self-starter as well as a team playerMust be able to take direction as well as ownership of given tasks Understand and follow oral and written instructionsAbility to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasksAbility to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraintsAbility to use standard powered and non-powered toolsMust be able to utilize/view a PC and/or monitorMust be able to walk, bend, stand and reach for extended periods of timeMust be comfortable and able to work at heights of 20 feetMust be able to work independently without direct supervisionAble to work in a refrigerated environment most of the day Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationMust be willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment (10°-40°)Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodationMust be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
