Summary:

The employee will perform warehouse functions and ensures efficiency & compliance of all warehouse duties and responsibilities. Other duties may apply. All employees are responsible to follow all of Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.

Essential Duties:

Duties include but not limited; to portioning ingredients into trays, while performing careful inspection of food and making sure there is no foreign materials fallen into ingredients by chance or accident. Follow safe food handling practices. Perform in a timely manner and execute production numbers according to recipe cards and numbers given by supervisor or manager. Maintain, store and clean ingredients, meals and working area. Be able to push and pull 100 lbs. or more and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned.

• Assemble of a wide selection of food items on a fast-moving production line, where food passes down on conveyor belts, through a variety of stages and packaging
• Checking and controlling equipment that make the food items
• Keeping machines clean at all times
• Assist in loading and unloading food items and ensure that they are stored appropriately as instructed by Line Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers
• Prepare food items in accordance to written and verbal procedures
• Operate food processing equipment in a safe manner according to written and verbal instructions
• Participate in packaging and assembling food items
• Ensure that food products are processed and prepared by following standards of cleanliness and hygiene,
• Comply with First-In First-Out food safety systems and procedures,
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on food production equipment
• Clean counters and floors to ensure a safe working environment
• Label packaged food items appropriately according to standard protocols,
• Monitor quality and quantity of food items
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Adhere of all company policies, procedures, and standards

Work Environment:

While performing the Production Associate’s duties, the employee will work in a warehouse cold environment.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, crawl, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach. Lift/push and pull up to 50 lbs. Work in cold/hot environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days and schedules are usually Sunday-Saturday.

Days and hours are subject to change depending on Company needs.
