Requirements

Summary: 

Under the direction of the Fulfillment Supervisor, this position will perform Fulfillment Pick/Pack functions and ensure efficiency and compliance of all duties and responsibilities. All employees are responsible for following all of Nutrition Corp.’s protocols of Food Safety. 

Essential Duties: 

· Pick, pack, label, and ship orders to customers. 

· Inspect the quality of boxes to ensure they are undamaged and in good condition (no rips/tears, bad seals, food debris under seal, etc.) and, when they go down the conveyor belt, they are completely taped with label intact. 

· Isolate any damaged objects in a designated area and notify lead/supervisor. 

· Ensure appropriate packing materials are used in packaging (ice packs, liners, boxes, etc.) 

· Pay close attention to allergens, exclusions, and special requests from customers. 

· Consistently clean during shifts by disposing of any trash in proper bins, ensuring to place any paper clips and binder clips in designated bins. 

· Clean and restock work area at the beginning and end of each shift. 

· Learn and familiarize the different box sizes for each operation. 

· Observe inventory of meals on the line and inform lead if running low. 

· Set up box stacks prior to starting orders to ensure a smoother workflow. 

· Prepare all tools and supplies needed when starting a new box size or brand. 

· Report all issues with any tools to the floor lead/supervisor immediately. 

· Use dollies and hand jacks correctly and safely. 

· Work efficiently with the flow of the team and current and new employees. 

· Follow all safe food handling protocols when prepping items for shipping. 

· Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment and ensure all meals are being FIFOed properly. 

· Learn and follow all appropriate fulfillment system protocols (picking/packing specifications, etc.), processes, operations, and quality standards. 

· Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment: 

While performing the Pick and Pack’s duties, the employee will work in a warehouse cold environment refrigerator temperature (35 - 40 degrees F). 

Physical Demands: 

Ability to stand, crawl, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach. Lift/push and pull up to 50 lbs. Work in cold/hot environment. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. Standard days and schedules are usually Sunday-Saturday. 

Days and hours are subject to change depending on Company needs.
