Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement or security to contribute to the safety and well-being of others.

Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and enforce company policies and procedures
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or disturbances
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including doors, windows, and gates
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related activities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees

Experience:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Conflict management skills

Requirements:
- Must be available weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Must have a current NYS security license
