Job Summary:

The Sanitor runner is responsible for removing all organic and inorganic waste from all areas of the plant.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain facility and surrounding area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and recognized Food Safety Standards
• Removal of all trash and product/soil from plant
• Follow directions of the Sanitation Supervisor and Leads; duties to be directed by both.
• Follow all Food Safety rules and policies.
• Follow all Employee safety rules and policies.
• Wear specified company protective gear as needed (PPE).

Qualifications

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must be able to wear assigned protective gear as needed.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Perform repetitive tasks: stand during most of the shift, walking, stooping, bending, reaching and crouching, climbing up/downstairs and ladders.
• Able to work in an environment that has cold temperatures, and humidity.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs. (waste removal)

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, The Sanitation Runner is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The performance of this position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, appropriate closed-toe shoes, and other PPE as needed. The noise level is moderate.
