We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a talented and dynamic Full-Time Barista and a Supervisor for its Bethesda bakery cafe (Fresh Baguette, 4919 Bethesda Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814).

Shifts as a Supervisor:

• Our shifts typically start as early as 4:40AM and end as late as 7PM, 7 days per week. 
• Morning shifts: 6AM-1PM
• Afternoon shifts: 1PM-7PM
• Baking shifts: 4:40AM to 1PM
• 7-8 hour shift
• 5 Days a week including Saturday and Sunday

Shifts as a Barista:

• Our shifts typically start as early as 6AM and end as late as 7PM, 7 days per week. 
• Morning shifts: 6AM-1PM
• Mid shifts: 9AM-4PM
• Afternoon shifts: 1PM-7PM
• 6-8 hour shift
• 5 Days a week including Saturday and Sunday

As a Supervisor you will be:

• Delegating tasks and maintaining high standards of service quality
• Assisting General Manager with hiring and scheduling
• Leading by example and ensuring customers are warmly welcomed and served in a clean and inviting environment
• Training the team on daily operations such as food safety or product knowledge

As a Barista you will be:

• Living by Fresh Baguette’s core values: Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, and Customer Oriented
• Providing friendly and prompt customer service
• An expert of Fresh Baguette menu offerings
• Follow recipes according to standard
• Cash and credit handling at the cash register in a fun and efficient manner
• Serving baked goods, breads, and pastries
• Making and serving coffee, sandwiches, salads with care
• Maintaining store safety, sanitation and proper food storage 
• Addressing and answering customer complaints 
• Paying close attention to the way products are displayed throughout the day and to the cleanliness of the store 
• Cleaning and prepping the store for the next day
• Closing register

Requirements as a Supervisor:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a shift leader/supervisor
• Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, & mornings/afternoons
• Availability to work on Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.
• Strong Communication skills
• Reliable transportation to work--living within walking distance and/or not dependent on public transportation
• Commute of less than 25 minutes
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Experience working in cafe or bakery is a plus

Requirements as a Barista:

• Compensation: Competitive pay – $22.00 / hour-$23.00 / hour including tip for a Supervisor or $20.00 / hour-$21.00 / hour including tip for a Barista
