Reporting To: Director of Merchandise Supply and Production

Job Summary

The Production Assistant will assist the Director of Production in a hands-on role mainly involving sample tracking and PO data entry.

The ideal candidate has a strong sense of deliverable urgency, works well in a collaborative environment, is a proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible natured team player, with the ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Tracking packages to ensure samples are received and checked in upon receipt
• Ensuring sample requests are sent out to all relevant office and factories on time
• Providing Director of Production with updates on various sample requests
• Ensuring tracking spreadsheets are updated with ETA and received dates
• Organizing samples and setting up cost charts

• Setting up USA & Canada styles in AS400 and issue pos

• Handling mini projects as required by the team
• Tracking ship modes and working closely with Sales team and country offices on delivery chart

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a production department or wholesale
• Some experience in PLM (Product Management System)/AS400
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills, very detail oriented
• Bachelors degree in Production Management or relevant experience
