Position Overview
Senior Project Manager, IT is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned program/projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. This position will partner with the Management team to plan portfolio, take programs/projects from original concept through to final implementation and close out.
This role may define project scope and objectives. In addition, this role develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
This role should be fully proficient in applying established Portfolio and Project Management standards and knowledge; acquired from 5 or more years of direct project management experience.This role is be responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
This role must be familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Incumbent should have hands-on experience with multiple technologies.
Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible forprogram/projects, portfolio, planning and execution ofprojects/initiatives
• Responsible forleading Portfolio management which includes portfolio planning, budgetestimation and management, resource strategy, capacity planning andtracking, financials and risk assessment
• Lead and driveprograms with cross-functional teams, demonstrate a sense of urgency todrive programs and projects to completion and be successful in acollaborative environment
• Work closely withBusiness, Product management, Tech teams and stakeholders to collaborateon roadmap planning, dependency mapping, intake and change request processand tracking status
• Ability to handle multiplestrategic projects at any given time like resource strategy, strategicpartners engagement, PMO Transformation, etc.
• Communicatestatus, issues, and risks to executive level stakeholders
• Develop plans andtrack progress of projects to successful completion
• Develop dependencymapping and track dependencies across complex strategic projects
• Practice, advocateagile practices in the organization
• Coaching andmentoring project/program managers in dotted line in the organization
• Foster a strongwork environment that rewards individual and team efforts; encouragescreativity while maintaining high caliber productivity and quality
• Adoption ofexisting Project Management best practices, including the proficient useof industry standard tools, technologies, and methodologies

• Requires approximately 10% traveldepending upon project specifics and business locations

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-year degree(Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field)and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
• 10 years ofProject Manager Experience
• 3-5 years ofexperience in Program /Portfolio Management
• Experience withAgile development
• PMP certificationpreferred
• Experience onworking on large scale Digital Transformation initiatives
• The Program Managerwill be interfacing with Executive Level Management and doing processdesign work
• Candidates thatare strategic thinkers will do well in the role, but open to "be in theweeds" as needed
