Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Assist in managing the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring smooth service from opening to closing.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise front-of-house staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of customer service, handle customer complaints with grace, and implement feedback to improve service.
• Financial Management: Assist with sales monitoring, manage expenses within the budget, and contribute to financial reporting.
• Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, conducting regular inventory checks, and minimizing waste.
• Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as needed, including generating reports and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Quality Control: Ensure all food and service standards are consistently met, maintaining the restaurant's reputation for quality.
• Customer Relations: Help build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance their dining experience and encourage repeat business.
• Strategic Input: Provide feedback and suggestions to the Restaurant Manager on operational improvements and staff matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• A passion for the hospitality industry and providing exceptional service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
