Contribute to Structural Bridge CAD production efforts. Follow best practices for bridge plans production. Develop bridge details in Microstation using DOT CAD standards and styles. Draft detailed structural bridge drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Interpret sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished construction drawings. Assemble plan submittals. Participate in training for bridge detailing and best practices. Communicate readily with team members in and out of the office. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or comparable/related (i.e. CADD; Drafting & Design Technology; General Engineering; or Design and Construction Technology) or comparable experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in structural or transportation engineering plan production. Ability to participate and work effectively in working relationships with teammates, clients, and sub-consultants. Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Microstation V8i or Connect Edition. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Familiarity with Civil 3D. Familiarity with OpenBridge.
