Job Summary
9 Month Program Option:
Staff participating in the 9 Month RN option will be required to work scheduled hours for 9 months per year with 3 unpaid months (12 weeks) off. Requests for the months off will be agreed upon prior to assignment start date.
Must work 72hours per pay period.
Must work every other weekend.
Benefit eligible during 9 month assignment.
Must work a minimum of 2 of the organization's recognized holidays during the 9 month assignment based on unit need. Holidays will be assigned by the Operational Leader.
Rate based on experience.
The delivery system practiced at FHN Memorial Hospital employs the concepts of differentiated nursing incorporating the PRIDE Standards as set forth by FHN. Coordinates and provides nursing care to identified patient population. Delegation, critical thinking and problem solving skills are utilized to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates competencies in accordance with specific performance standards.
Education: Associate’s degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a BSN preferred, or graduate from an accredited RN program; and zero to years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
BLS certification required. ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification may be required depending on department
