Summary
The Lighting Specialist will assist in the development of the client's ideas into a practical lighting package. This position will also assist in the planning and coordination of lighting resources.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Orlando, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Compile equipment requirements and assemble gear for shows.
- Install and operate lighting equipment.
- Direct assigned lighting personnel in the installation, operation, disassembly and storage of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to three (1-3) years related lighting work experience.
- Must have lighting knowledge and skills to set up, operate, and train lighting systems.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in verbal, written, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license
Travel Requirements
Travel 25% to 50%
