Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Agency Event Production to develop technology-based solutions for live events.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies to support live events and interactive production.
• Use words or designs to explain technical solutions to clients or team members so they understand the solution’s features as well as its limitations. "Just because it's cool" will not suffice as an explanation.
• Ability to effectively adjust presentation style to a variety of audiences, i.e. to management, technicians, or clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail, as well as superior organizational and creative thinking skills,
• Assist project leaders in the development of budgets for proposed designs.
• Have a keen ear for technical details that may impact a project even if others are not aware – and translate to the sales team for accurate estimating and pricing.
• Maintain and create relationships with external vendors in the field of your technology solutions.
• Must be detail-oriented and a self-motivated team player (willing to jump in at any point to get a project done).
• Travel to events typically within the U.S., occasionally internationally
• Event-specific duties include:
  • Specifying and creating equipment lists.
  • Creating previsualization diagrams, renderings, or pre-configured software builds for deployment.
  • Reviewing CAD drawings.
  • Estimating labor required for events.
  • Creating media and content creation guides.
  • R&D

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10 years of live event production experience with a technology field of expertise
• Examples of previous projects demonstrating technology solutions in a live environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
• Working knowledge of some Adobe Suite applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products
• Conceptual understanding of professional LED display systems, accounting for pixel pitch and processor capabilities
• Conceptual understanding of Projection/Pixel Mapping and multi-screen displays
• Experience developing and managing project timelines, resources, vendors, and budgetary requirements for large, complex projects
• Experience drawing system design in AutoCAD or VectorWorks
• Ability to keep your cool in a fast-paced environment, while being flexible and adapting to change during times that requiring problem solving
• Knowledge of real-time visual generators such as Touchdesigner, Notch, Unreal, or Unity preferred
• Experience with Media playback systems such as Disguise, Watchout, or Millumin preferred
• Some experience in 3D software environments preferred
• Experience with interactive technologies such as sensors, large touchscreen technology, camera tracking, Raspberry Pi, and other nontraditional input devices
• Ability to maintain senses of perspective and humor
