Summary

The Digital Operations Manager is responsible for the execution of digital programs and projects as well as related creative program elements. The Digital Operations Manager is also responsible for managing the following: project teams consisting of employees and partners, timelines and budgets. Works closely with the Sr. Director of Experience Design & Digital Strategy and Director of Technology Solutions to develop cutting edge ideas, technologies, products and platforms and implement them throughout the enterprise through education, training and support. The Digital Operations Manager will also provide account support and client education when appropriate and necessary to ensure program success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the digital project budget with the appropriate input from team members.
  • Manage and coordinate with external vendors to meet project timelines and deliver on internal and client expectations of design, user experience, technologies, timeline and budget.
  • Manage compliance with the digital production timeline to deliver the project to meet the established schedule and financial objectives. Drive digital production timeline compliance and deliver timely communications on all things digital, technology and budgetary in nature. Monitor a digital project’s progress throughout its duration, and communicate project status to senior management as necessary.
  • Analyze data, anticipate, identify and mitigate risk factors.
  • Manage the deliverables of digital, creative, content and technical components of the digital proposal process, to ensure the technology solution meets the established financial goals.
  • Ensure the digital solution meets the established financial goals from the outset (unless Executive Leadership has given a variance from these goals). Follow with the creation, management and production of all elements of service to client programs.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to internal and external colleagues on current digital and interactive production techniques, technologies and appropriate vendors. Actively and aggressively grow knowledge base through research, interviews and networking throughout the industry.
  • Prepare regular training and education for company-related products, initiatives and platforms.
  • Continuously improve digital practice and standards, particularly through guides and other learning materials.
  • Continuously improving personal digital and technology-related education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • 4 year degree or equivalent and related work experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in an agency, production company or corporation producing communications programs (business-to-business, targeted customer, branding, marketing communications, events, etc).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, communicate clearly and achieve project timelines.
  • Ability to handle client and account issues.
  • Diplomacy & tact in challenging situations and in dealing with a variety of personality types and working styles.
  • Positive overall attitude and customer service oriented attitude.
  • Excellent computer skills in all MS Office programs.
  • Ability to function under pressure with efficiency and grace.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
